In his latest audio tape, mass-murderer Osama bin Laden warned everyone from European leaders to the Pope that his group’s next attack will be coming soon. Apostasy is an official crime against the state in some Muslim countries, and where it is not, the punishment of execution or severe persecution is often carried out by individuals as the rule of law looks the other way.
